As part of your studies, a proof of an 8-week professional internship is required. The internship office of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering is responsible for the recognition of the internship. Further details are regulated by the internship regulations for the courses of study civil engineering and environmental engineering, which are available here. It is recommended to complete the internship before you start your studies. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
During the pandemic, the internship report and the corresponding internship certificate were primarily submitted electronically in order to reduce contact between students and staff. This has proven itself both technically and administratively and significantly reduces the workload for both students and the Internship Office. For this reason, it will now generally be possible to send the internship report as a PDF file. Please pay attention to the following:
Of course, reports and certificates can still be submitted in physical form. In this case, please use either the office hours of the Internship Office or - outside office hours - the letterbox located there.
